Preview the mix, then send it to rekordbox or export it

Load the decks, hear the blend, save your mix, and take your library to rekordbox.

Goal: A rehearsed set, saved, and your library in rekordbox.

Hear the blend

  1. Select a track and press Load Deck 1. Select another and press Load Deck 2.
  2. Open the Deck screen.
  3. Press ▶ Preview blend to hear the transition between the two decks.

Save your mix

  1. On the Deck screen, press Start New Run at the track that is playing, and mix.
  2. Press Save the last run. TrackBase renders it and saves it as a composition (an MP3).

Send your library to rekordbox

  1. Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop.
  2. At the bottom of the Selection Panel, press Local Sync.
  3. Pick a folder on your computer. TrackBase copies your library there, with a collection rekordbox can import.
  4. In rekordbox, import the collection from that folder. Your set roles and Energy playlists come with it.

Tips

  • Besides Load Deck, there are Next Deck and Queue Deck buttons to line up what plays next.
  • The Local Sync export is tested with rekordbox 7.
